Wile E. Coyote & Road Runner Mint Sheet of 10 Stamps Imperforate 10th Stamp

This sheet of ten self-adhesive stamps was the fourth issued of a series of Warner Brothers Cartoon Characters sheets. It features the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote and was designed by the Warner Bros. artist Ed Wleczyk. This sheet was issued in two formats: one format has a die-cut ("perforated") 10th stamp on the right-hand side of the sheet. The other format, the one offered here, has an imperforate stamp (no die-cutting) at this 10th position. With both formats, there is die-cutting between the nine stamps on left-hand side of the pane. This pane, with the imperforate 10th stamp, is significantly more scarce than the pane with the die-cut 10th stamp. This pane, with the imperforate 10th stamp, is significantly more scarce than the pane with the die-cut 10th stamp: 127-fold fewer panes were issued.

The actual size of this sheet is 130 x 174 mm (5.12" x 6.85").
