Legendary Football Coaches Set of 4 with “Red Barâ€United States, 1997

This set of four mint stamps was issued by the United States Postal Service between August 5 and August 16, 1997. Unlike our item#’s FB2 and FB2b, these four stamps were not issued within a single sheet; instead, each of the four stamp designs were issued in separate sheets (one stamp design per sheet). The two issues can be easily differentiated as this these four stamps have a red bar above the coach’s names. These stamps recall four of the greatest who ever coached the game: Paul "Bear" Bryant, Glenn "Pop" Warner, Vince Lombardi, and George Halas.

Mint, never hinged.
Scott Catalogue Number(s): U.S.# 3147-3150
