Great Lakes Lighthouses Booklet Pane of 5 Stamps Discounted 2nd quality

Please note that this booklet pane of five stamps is discounted because the method of separating the panes during production left the top and bottom edges a bit rougher than average.

The United States Postal Service issued this mint booklet pane of five "Great Lakes Lighthouses" stamps on June 17, 1995. The stamps feature the following lighthouses: Split Rock (Lake Superior), St. Joseph (Lake Michigan), Spectacle Reef (Lake Huron), Marblehead (Lake Erie), and Thirty Mile Point (Lake Ontario).

Please note that this five-stamp pane was issued in a folded booklet and will show signs of folding along one row of perforation holes (this is normal for folded booklet panes). Also, if a sheet tab is attached (selvage at the top of the pane), it will likely show signs of damage because this tab was used to glue the pane to a booklet cover. There will not be damage to the stamps themselves. Assume that the pane you receive will either not have this tab, or will have a somewhat damaged tab which can be easily removed if desired.

Mint, never hinged.
Scott Catalogue Number(s): U.S.# 2973a
