This small-sized stamp (19mm x 23mm; the above image is an enlargement) was issued in a booklet format on January 8, 1982. The featured Bighorned Sheep design is the same design depicted on one of the 1981 wildlife booklet stamps (see item# USW9), though the color has been changed to blue for this issue. Being a stamp from a booklet pane, the stamp will have one or two straight edges (non-perforated edges).
